I think country life is better than city life

In my opinion I think that country life is better than city life

I think that country life is better than city life because there are more native trees and plants. I believe that native trees could be used for huts and I also believe that plants could be used for hide and go seek and other games.

You can experience different things about plants, you may think to yourself one day, I wonder what this plant is called and that would be amazing to find out about. You also may find sticks, leaves, pine cones etc. Then you could make wall hangings or something for your parents.

You can also learn new things that you never knew about. You can explore the countryside and go down massive streams and waterfalls.  When you are having long walks you may find little creatures and big ones.  You might find ladybirds, caterpillars, hedgehogs etc. Maybe you would think to your self I think that country life is better than city life too.

I think that country life is better than city life.

It is going to be 6 weeks old.

Maths Match Sticks - Week 3

    • This week we have been using match sticks for maths. We had to use 50 match sticks to make our name.
    • We got four rulers and match them together to make 1m.
    • We then made our name, and we took a photo on the
    • i - pad and sent it to Mrs Miller.
    • How about the next time you see your teacher, ask if you can have a go at it, and trust Parkvale School on their ideas as well. My teacher's name is Mrs Miller.
    • The learning was to do with measurement, we had to think about the accuracy and the starting and finishing point.
    • We also put numbers to the colours and we had to add up the total value.
